Caliburn

Caliburn is a nation known as the nation of knights, introduced in Episode 9. Its capital is Kirtham, and its knights are ranked under the Swords of Caliburn. Deus Macallion was sent there by Allon Palateo and he rose to become the fifth master knight.

Geography

The central area of the capital, Kirtham, holds the grand mansion where the Solar Eclipse Knights reside. Southern Caliburn contains the small hotel named in Deus's personal order, where he was reunited with the family he believed he had lost.

Knighthood

Swordsmanship in Psychedelia is ranked as Sword User, Sword Expert and Sword Master. A swordmaster is a superhuman who has gone beyond the aura blade and unlocked a unique ability called derivation. Only sword masters can become master knights. The nation's master knights are known as the Swords of Caliburn and are numbered. Reinhardt is the First Sword and became the youngest master knight ever to exist at the age of thirty-two, having held a sword since he was five; in the original game he is accepted as a temporary comrade after main episode three. Realizing mana and moving it around takes roughly fifteen years, and derivation takes at least a few decades.

War with the northern barbarians

Caliburn has been at war with the northern barbarians for more than a decade and lost a master knight to them during that conflict.

Deus Macallion in Caliburn

Deus was ordered to head to Caliburn in the individual orders the Blue Moon received. He was appointed a knight of Caliburn, and within three months had built an entire knight order, which placed him at expert level or higher. People began saying the world would see its fifth master knight in less than ten years, and Caliburn became loud with the news.

Six months later Deus became a Sword of Caliburn, making him the fifth master knight. He won a duel against the Fourth Sword, though he had not yet created his derivation; the nation granted him the title regardless. He also became captain of the Solar Eclipse Knights and the youngest master knight.
