The Patron Of Villains Wiki

Allon Palateo is the protagonist of the The Patron of Villains web novel and webtoon series. He is the third son in the House of Palateo. Unknown to Allon, the people he rescues come to worship him as the Great Moon and establish the secret organization known as the Blue Moon to serve him.

Appearance

Allon is a young man with pale skin, dark hair, and dark-colored eyes. He has a slender build and is frequently seen wearing the formal clothing expected of a nobleman. His usual attire consists of a light-colored shirt beneath a dark vest or coat.

Personality

Allon is cautious and strongly motivated by self-preservation. After realizing that he has entered the world of Psychedelia, he immediately begins planning around his knowledge of the game's future. His primary goal is to prevent the Five Prime Sins from destroying the kingdom, although he also hopes to secure a quiet and comfortable life for himself. Despite frequently claiming that he only wants to survive, Allon is compassionate toward people who have suffered. Rather than killing the future Prime Sins before they become dangerous, he chooses to rescue them from the circumstances that originally caused their descent into villainy. He provides them with shelter, protection, and encouraging letters while ensuring that they are treated kindly. Allon is intelligent and capable of quickly adapting to unexpected situations. However, he often fails to understand how others interpret his actions. His careful plans and vague instructions regularly cause the people around him to view him as a mysterious mastermind. He remains completely unaware that the Five Prime Sins worship him as the Great Moon and carry out large-scale operations in his name. He initially avoids unnecessary work and dreams of spending his life relaxing in Rodmil. As the original storyline changes and increasingly dangerous events occur around him, Allon becomes more serious about training and fulfilling his responsibilities.

History

Intro

A man from another world awakens inside the body of Allon Palateo, the third son of Count Palateo. He initially enjoys the privileges of living as a wealthy noble before recognizing the world as that of Psychedelia, a turn-based role-playing game he played extensively in his previous life. In the game's original story, Allon is a powerless extra villain with little importance. Regardless of the route taken by the player, five powerful individuals known as the Five Prime Sins eventually appear and cause the downfall of the Federation Kingdom of the East. Knowing what will happen, Allon decides to locate the future Prime Sins while they are still children. Rather than eliminating them, he plans to remove the causes of their suffering and turn them into ordinary members of society.

Rescuing the Five Prime Sins

Allon rescues Eutiah Bloodia, the future Sin of Wrath, and arranges for her to live at an orphanage under his protection. He later rescues Deus Macallion, from an illegal slave market and sends him to the same orphanage. Over the next two years, Allon locates and rescues the remaining three Prime Sins. He provides the children with a safe home and regularly exchanges letters with them. Believing that meeting their savior too early might cause them to become emotionally dependent upon him, Allon avoids visiting the orphanage personally. Allon believes his rehabilitation plan is working when reports indicate that the formerly traumatized children have gradually become happier. He does not realize that Eutiah has interpreted his words as secret commands or that the children have begun referring to him as the Great Moon.

The Blue Moon

Inspired by Allon's assistance and letters, Eutiah and the other rescued children establish the Blue Moon. The organization secretly eliminates slave traders, drug dealers, human experimenters, corrupt nobles, and other criminals while believing that its actions serve Allon's greater plan. Allon remains unaware of his supposed authority over the organization. Because the Blue Moon frequently removes people who threaten him, outsiders gradually begin suspecting that Allon is its hidden leader.

Succession Conflict within the House of Palateo

Allon's older brothers, Tonio Palateo and Leo Palateo, are both dangerous figures associated with the kingdom's criminal underworld. Tonio frequently torments Allon because he considers him weak and useless. Allon avoids retaliating because he does not want to expose how drastically his personality has changed. Tonio later dies earlier than he did in the original game, allowing Leo to absorb his criminal operations. Leo becomes increasingly suspicious of Allon and orders his subordinate Alman to follow Allon's carriage and assassinate him. Alman is intercepted and defeated by Hidan, a member of the Blue Moon, before Allon ever learns about the attempt. During Allon's trip to Rodmil, the Blue Moon destroys the criminal organization Avalon and Leo is murdered. Since Allon was absent during the attacks and stood to benefit from both events, many people begin viewing him as the secret mastermind responsible. Following Leo's death, Allon becomes the primary successor to the Palateo Estate. He is forced to abandon his plan of immediately settling in Rodmil and assumes greater responsibilities within the family.

Training

Concerned by how far events have diverged from the game's original story, Allon begins training in swordsmanship under Evan and studying magic. His magical instructor discovers that Allon possesses exceptional control and can learn several elemental spells unusually quickly. However, Allon's innate mana capacity is extremely small, limiting the amount of magic he can use. Despite this disadvantage, he continues training because even a modest increase in strength may help him survive future threats.

Meeting Laura Altia

As the successor to Palateo Estate, Allon attends a ball in southern Asteria to establish connections with other nobles. The Palateo family's criminal reputation causes most attendees to avoid him, and Allon becomes intoxicated while attempting to appear comfortable at the gathering. While recovering outside the ballroom, he meets Laura Altia, the third daughter of the House of Altia and a figure unknown within Psychedelia. Her appearance surprises Allon because she was not supposed to become involved in the original story so early. Lorina asks Allon to lend her his strength and reveals that she believes someone is planning to assassinate her.

Abilities

Magic

Allon has a natural talent for controlling magic and is capable of learning elemental spells at an exceptional rate. During his early training, he successfully produces multiple types of elemental magic that would normally take much longer to learn. His greatest weakness is his extremely limited innate mana capacity. Although his control is impressive, he cannot sustain or produce the same amount of magic as someone with a larger mana hall.

Swordsmanship

Allon receives regular swordsmanship training from Evan. He initially lacks significant combat experience but begins steadily improving after deciding that he needs enough strength to protect himself.

Knowledge of the future

Because he previously played Psychedelia, Allon knows the backgrounds, abilities, and intended futures of many important characters. This allows him to interfere before major tragedies occur. His knowledge is not infallible. The creation of the Blue Moon, the early deaths of his brothers, and other changes to the original plot leave him increasingly confused & uncertain about the future.

Relationships

Evan

Evan is Allon's personal knight and one of his closest companions. He carries out Allon's instructions, assists in rescuing the future Prime Sins, and trains him in swordsmanship.

Evan is frequently confused by Allon's unexplained knowledge and increasingly suspects that his master is secretly responsible for major events throughout the kingdom. Despite his suspicions, he remains loyal to Allon and prioritizes his safety.

Eutiah

Eutiah is the first future Prime Sin rescued by Allon. He entrusts her with helping care for the children at the orphanage and is pleased by reports that she has become a dependable caretaker.

Eutiah views Allon as the Great Moon and believes that his letters contain hidden instructions. Her loyalty to him is absolute, although Allon remains unaware of the depth of her devotion or her position as the leader of the Blue Moon.

The Five Prime Sins

Allon regards the Five Prime Sins as traumatized children who deserve the opportunity to live peaceful lives. He wants to prevent their original suffering and believes that kindness and stability will stop them from becoming villains. The Five Great Sins instead view Allon as their savior and master. They dedicate themselves to carrying out what they believe to be his will and eliminate threats to him without his knowledge.

Tonio Palateo

Tonio Palateo is Allon's second-oldest brother. Tonio looks down on Allon and physically mistreats him because of his reputation as a powerless and unintelligent member of the family.

Allon fears Tonio's future as the King of Drugs and avoids confronting him directly.

Leo Palateo

Leo Palateo is Allon's eldest brother and the original successor to Palateo County. Leo considers Allon suspicious despite his harmless reputation and eventually attempts to have him assassinated.
