Deus Macallion is a major character in the The Patron of Villains web novel and webtoon series. He is one of the Five Prime Sins and a member of the Blue Moon. In the original storyline of Psychedelia, Deus becomes one of the game's major bosses after enduring slavery and biological experimentation. After Allon Palateo learns of Deus's future, he has him rescued from an illegal slave market and sent to the orphanage where Eutiah Bloodia resides, hoping to prevent the events that originally caused Deus to become a villain.
Appearance
Deus is a young boy with dark hair and a slender build. When he is first rescued, he appears exhausted and emotionally withdrawn as a result of the abuse he suffered. After living at the orphanage for several years, Deus's condition improves considerably and he appears healthier and more expressive. When using his powers as a member of the Blue Moon, Deus is surrounded by dark purple energy.
Personality
When Deus is first introduced, he is severely traumatized by the treatment he received before his rescue. His experiences have left him withdrawn and emotionally damaged, with Evan describing the rescued children as having initially appeared like broken dolls. His personality gradually improves after being placed in a safe environment. Alongside the other children rescued by Allon, Deus becomes noticeably more lively as the years pass. Deus develops an intense loyalty toward Allon despite having little direct contact with him. Through Eutiah Bloodia, he comes to regard Allon as the Great Moon and believes that he was deliberately chosen and rescued by him. Like the other members of the Blue Moon, Deus is willing to use extreme violence against those considered enemies of the Great Moon.
History
Original storyline
In the original storyline of Psychedelia, Deus becomes the game's second boss. Before becoming one of the Five Prime Sins, he is sold into slavery and subjected to biological experiments. The abuse he experiences leaves him physically and emotionally broken. Eventually, Deus develops tremendous power and becomes one of the Five Prime Sins responsible for bringing destruction to the world. Knowing what will happen to him, Allon Palateo decides to intervene before Deus reaches that point.
Rescue
After locating the illegal slave market where Deus is being held, Allon orders Evan to arrange his rescue. Evan is surprised by Allon's knowledge, particularly because the operation is connected not only to an illegal slave market but also to secret biological experiments occurring in another region. Allon refuses to explain how he obtained the information. Once rescued, Deus is sent to the same orphanage as Eutiah Bloodia.
Meeting Eutiah Bloodia
At the orphanage, Deus encounters Eutiah beneath the moonlight. Eutiah immediately recognizes that Deus has been severely damaged by his experiences and notices unusual traces upon him. She identifies them as belonging to the Black Goat. She tells Deus that the Great Moon has chosen him and declares that his power can be restored. Eutiah then uses her abilities to awaken the power within him. Eutiah promises Deus that if he remains loyal and follows the Great Moon's commands, he will eventually receive his revenge against those responsible for his suffering. This encounter causes Deus to become one of the followers of the Great Moon.
Life at the orphanage
Deus remains at the orphanage alongside the other future Five Prime Sins. Over the following years, the children gradually recover from the conditions in which Allon found them. Reports given to Allon indicate that those who once appeared emotionally broken have become significantly more cheerful. Allon interprets their recovery as evidence that his attempt to prevent the Five Prime Sins from becoming villains has succeeded. However, he remains unaware of the ideology that has developed among the children or the extent of their devotion toward him.
Blue Moon
Deus eventually becomes a member of the Blue Moon, the secret organization created by the children rescued by Allon. The organization worships Allon as the Great Moon and considers its members to be his swords. They carry out operations against criminals and organizations that they believe oppose his will. Like the other Five Prime Sins, Deus participates in the organization's activities while Allon remains unaware that the Blue Moon exists in his name.

Magic
Deus possesses tremendous latent magical potential. Even while still a child, Eutiah Bloodia is able to recognize that there is extraordinary power hidden within him. After she awakens it, Deus becomes capable of manifesting powerful supernatural abilities.
Purple energy
Deus's abilities are visually associated with dark purple magical energy. As a member of the Blue Moon, he is capable of using this energy in combat against the organization's enemies.
Relationships
Allon Palateo is responsible for rescuing Deus from the illegal slave market. Allon knows Deus's future from Psychedelia and believes that saving him before he becomes completely broken will prevent him from becoming one of the villains responsible for destroying the kingdom. Deus instead comes to view Allon as the Great Moon. He believes that Allon deliberately selected and rescued him as part of a greater plan and becomes deeply loyal to him. Allon remains unaware of this interpretation.
Eutiah Bloodia is one of the first people Deus encounters after being taken to the orphanage. She recognizes the damage caused by his past and identifies traces of the Black Goat upon him. Eutiah awakens his dormant power and tells him that he has been chosen by the Great Moon. Through Eutiah, Deus becomes involved with the ideology that eventually develops into the Blue Moon.
Five Prime Sins
Deus is one of the Five Prime Sins alongside Eutiah Bloodia, Solan, Rinne, and Radan. In the original game, the five become catastrophic villains because of their traumatic histories. After Allon's interference, they instead grow up together under his protection and become members of the Blue Moon.
Evan
Evan assists with Deus's rescue at Allon's request. The circumstances surrounding the rescue contribute to Evan's growing suspicion of Allon, as he cannot understand how his master knew about the illegal slave market and the biological experiments connected to it.
